Stay Ahead with Routine Health Screenings
Regular health screenings help catch potential issues before they become serious. At BV County Public Health and Home Care, we offer blood pressure checks and oral health screenings so you can take control of your health and get the care you need early.
Routine health screenings play a vital role in maintaining your well-being. They allow you and our healthcare team to identify health concerns early—often before symptoms appear—making treatment more effective and improving outcomes. Regular screenings can help prevent serious illnesses and keep you feeling your best.

At BV County Public Health and Home Care, our routine screenings include:
-
Blood pressure checks to monitor heart health
-
Dental screenings
-
Lead screenings
We encourage residents to stay proactive about their health by scheduling routine screenings based on age, risk factors and medical history. If you have questions about which screenings are right for you, our team is here to help.
BV County Public Health encourages all people to stay up to date with routine preventive screenings by talking with their primary care physician. Preventive screenings help identify health concerns early, when treatment is often more effective. Routine preventive services may include blood pressure checks, cholesterol screening, diabetes screening, cancer screenings (such as breast, cervical, colorectal, lung, or prostate cancer), dental screenings, lead screening, immunizations, vision and hearing screenings, body mass index (BMI) assessment, and other age‑ or risk‑based screenings recommended by a healthcare provider.
