Breast and Cervical Cancer
Care for Yourself provides free or low-cost breast cancer screenings—such as clinical breast exams and mammograms—and cervical cancer screenings—like Pap testing and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) testing for Iowans between 21 and 64 years of age.
Oral Health
We promote better oral health through education, community outreach and access to basic dental care – including free dental clinics, hygiene supply distribution and connections to local dental resources.
General Assistance
General Assistance is designed to serve as a last resort—support is only provided when applicants have exhausted all other potential sources of aid, including personal resources, support from relatives and other public or private programs. Eligibility is determined at the time of application once all required documentation has been submitted and reviewed.
